Polish electronic musicians Grzegorz Bojanek, Pawel Pruski and Maciej Nejman will perform in Overseas Chinese Town in early June. Also performing will be Hong Kong experimental musicians Dickson Dee and Wong Chung-fai and Shenzhen musicians Zen Lu and Liu Chun.

Bojanek focuses mostly on ambient, experimental and electro-acoustic music. Pruski chiefly focuses on electronic experimental music and jazz.

In 2006, Lu and Bojanek launched a music exchange project, ChoP, involving 10 artists from China and Poland. They compose mainly by transferring and exchanging music samples over the Internet.

They’ve released four albums, reflecting the exploration of differences in experimental music made by artists of two different cultures. Despite the live show that brought Lu together with Bojanek in Poland in June 2007, collaboration between the other musicians has all been via the Internet.

Pruski, Nejman, Dee, Wong and Liu, who are also involved in ChoP, will visit Foshan, Changsha, Wuhan, Guangzhou and Hong Kong after the Shenzhen show, which is sponsored by Warsaw Electronic Music Festival and Shenzhen-based We Play! Records.
