Practical support from South Korean

Wang Yuanyuan

LEE BYUNG-SIK, general manager of Shenzhen Samsung Kejian Mobile Telecommunication Technology Co. Ltd., said he could do something practical to support the Beijing Olympic Games by providing mobile phone services.

"As a torchbearer from South Korea, I hope I can not only pass on the Olympic spirit but also show China¡¯s real changes and development to the world," said Lee in an interview Wednesday.

"I am so honored to be able to do something for communications between South Korea and China, my second home," he said.

Li is a good swimmer and has been jogging for 30 minutes each day after being chosen to run in the torch relay.

"Two hundred meters is not enough and I wish I could run 500 meters,' Lee said.

Lee first came to China in 1994 after Samsung sent him to Beijing to learn Chinese. He has lived in China for 14 years, seven of those in Shenzhen.
