The country’s two stock exchanges would encourage investors who plan large sales of shares to use the off-market system for block trades, rather than selling the shares in the market, a newspaper said yesterday.

The Shanghai and Shenzhen exchanges wanted investors to use the off-market system if they planned to sell at least 1.5 million shares in a listed company in the space of a month, the Shanghai Securities News said.

报道中的block trade就是“大宗交易"，指交易量为至少1万股股票或者价值20万的证券的交易，一般只有机构投资者才会进行此类交易。
